Terms and Conditions: Buying Research Peptides From NovaPep

These terms apply to your use of the NovaPep website and to every purchase you make through it. Throughout this document, "NovaPep", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the business that runs this site (, ), while "you" means the person browsing or ordering. By placing an order you accept these terms plus the research use policy, privacy policy, delivery information and refund policy.

1. Buy Only If You Are Eligible

You must be 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter a contract, and placing an order confirms that both are true. We may request proof of age and may cancel the order if it is not provided.

2. Order Products for Laboratory Research Only

All our products are supplied for in vitro and laboratory research. They are not medicines, foods, cosmetics or dietary supplements, and the Therapeutic Goods Administration has approved none of them. When you place an order, you agree to each of the following.

  • Your purchase is for genuine laboratory research.
  • You will not administer any product to a human or animal, nor pass it on or resell it for such use.
  • You have training in the safe handling, storage and disposal of research chemicals.
  • Complying with all laws that apply to you is your responsibility, including the rules on the import, possession and use of research compounds.

We give no dosing, administration or medical advice. If we have reasonable grounds to think an order is not for research, we can turn it down or cancel it.

3. How Your Order Becomes a Contract

Product listings on the site are an invitation for you to make an offer. When you order, you make that offer, and we accept it when we dispatch the goods. The automated email sent after you order confirms we have received it, but it does not amount to acceptance.

Orders We May Decline

Up until dispatch, we may decline or cancel an order in whole or in part. This can happen when stock has run out, a listing has an obvious price or description error, or payment is not received. It also applies when fraud is suspected or the order seems intended for human or animal use. Any money already paid for a cancelled order is refunded in full.

4. Shop With Prices in Australian Dollars

Every price is shown in Australian dollars, with GST included where it applies. Shipping is added at checkout, costing $12 for tracked standard post or $29 for tracked express. If we discover a product was listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before sending it, and you may then cancel for a full refund. A change in price never affects an order we have already accepted.

5. Pay by PayID or Bank Transfer

We take PayID and bank transfer and do not accept cards. After checkout, your order number, which doubles as the payment reference, and our payment details appear on screen and are emailed to you. We dispatch orders after payment arrives. Any order still unpaid 3 days after it was placed is cancelled. The goods stay our property until they are paid for in full.

6. Delivery and the Transfer of Risk

We only deliver within Australia, using tracked Australia Post services. The shipping page sets out our dispatch cut-off, shipping prices and likely transit times, and those transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees. The goods are at your risk from the moment of delivery to the address you gave us. Entering that address correctly is your responsibility, as we are unable to redirect a parcel once the carrier has it.

7. Returns, Claims and Refunds

Our refund policy covers items that arrive wrong or damaged or go missing, and claims need to reach us no later than 7 days after delivery, or after the expected delivery date. A sound product cannot come back to us for a change of mind refund after it has been dispatched.

8. How to Use Our Product Information

Everything on this site, from guides and calculators to specifications and descriptions, is research reference material. None of it is medical advice, and none of it describes how a product might be used in humans or animals. Each lot has a certificate of analysis, and should a product page ever conflict with the certificate for your lot, the certificate takes precedence.

9. Limits on Our Liability

The Australian Consumer Law gives you non-excludable guarantees on everything we sell, and these terms do not remove any right or remedy available to you under that law. Subject to those guarantees, and as far as the law allows, the following applies.

  • Indirect or consequential loss is excluded from our liability.
  • We bear no liability for loss, injury or damage that follows from a product being used contrary to these terms or to the research use policy.
  • If the law allows us to restrict what we owe when a consumer guarantee is breached, our responsibility is restricted to replacing the goods, providing equivalent goods, or giving back the price paid.

10. Who Owns the Site Content

The site's text, photographs, graphics and design are owned by NovaPep or its licensors. You are welcome to print or save a page for your own reference. Copying or republishing any of it needs our written permission.

11. Governing Law

The law of the Australian state or territory where NovaPep is registered governs these terms, and each party agrees that the courts of that state may hear disputes, on a non-exclusive basis.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version on this page. Whichever version is displayed when you place an order applies to that order.
